Galapagos Scuba Diving

Galapagos in one of the most fantastic dive spots in the world due to the incredible number and variety of marine life. For whom? There are two ways to dive in the Galapagos:
1. Specialized dive cruises
Provided aboard yachts fit with all suited equipment and facilities for this activity. The naturalist guide is a certified dive master. The yachts have special planned itineraries with the best dive sites in the Galapagos such as Darwin and Wolf and the activities are 75% diving and 25% lands visit.

Only a few specialized diving yachts offer these itineraries all year round. These kind of dive cruises are suited for experienced divers.

2. Daily diving tours.
A good alternative for diving in the Galapagos is a land based dive program where you stay in a hotel in Pto. Ayora at Santa Cruz Island and each day do daily diving tours to the different dive sites around the central islands.

This type of arrangements can be made as extensions before or after a normal land visit cruise. The good thing about the daily diving tours is that the dive itinerary is planned according to divers experience and not according to a yacht itinerary, so we can tailor make itineraries for both advanced and newly certified divers.
