Pasochoa 1 Day

Located one and a half hour drive south from Quito. This is an extinct volcano with a huge open caldera on the western side. There are lots of mountain forests which are now protected. There are several marked trails for shorter and longer hikes and you can reach the summit in one day if you are based in Quito.
